The delegation of the “Development Fund of Georgia” attended the second Georgian investment forum in London, organized by the Georgian Embassy in the United Kingdom and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and EBRD. The Forum was hosted at the premises of EBRD in London, United Kingdom.
The delegation of the "Development Fund of Georgia" was led by the executive director of the fund, Besik Bugianishvili. The "Georgian Development Fund" team was led by Besik Bugianishvili, the fund's executive director. He participated in the discussion on Georgia's overall investment climate, which included energy, logistics, and hospitality industries.
"The participation of the “Development Fund of Georgia” in such investment forums is very important, it allows us to further expand the circle of potential investors, the forum was attended by more than 100 potential investors in Britain, so it was a good opportunity for us to talk with them about the possibilities of future joint investment projects" - he said Executive Director of "Georgian Development Fund", Besik Bugianishvili
The "Development Fund of Georgia" delegation was also represented at the forum by Vakhtang Jorbenadze, the fund's deputy executive director, and Evgeni Peevski, head of risk and monitoring at the Development Fund of Georgia. He contributed to the panel discussion by offering insights and comprehensive information about the Development Fund of Georgia’s mission, objectives, and investment in Georgia.
The Forum aimed to introduce Georgia’s macroeconomic outlook, investment opportunities as well as the factors which make Georgia attractive to investors. The Forum focused on Georgia’s economic trends, noting Georgia’s strong recovery rate and double-digit economic growth. Additionally, the Forum emphasized the pivotal role played by Georgia’s consistent economic policy and stable macroeconomicenvironment in fostering the increased interest of investors in Georgia.
