
Development Fund of Georgia hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, Hideki Ishizuka.
At the introductory meeting held at the Fund, the parties discussed the historical, cultural, and business relations between the two countries.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Development Fund of Georgia, Davit Saganelidze, and the Executive Director of the Fund, Besik Bugianishvili, introduced the Ambassador to the changes implemented as a result of the reform, discussed the Fund's activities, investment projects carried out in various regions, and its mandate.
The Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, Hideki Ishizuka, emphasized that one of his main priorities is to deepen the trade and economic relations between the two countries, highlighting the importance of cooperation with the Development Fund of Georgia. The Ambassador also noted that the interest of Japanese investors in Georgia is steadily growing. The parties discussed the prospects of implementing joint projects in the fields of logistics, energy, and manufacturing industries.
