A joint project of the Development Fund of Georgia and the Dutch company Food Venture in Imereti region, western Georgia. The partners of the project also are the Dutch company Food venture B.V, TBC Group and Georgian Fresh holding B.V, which has set up Imereti Greenery Ltd to support greenhouse development in Georgia. About 50 people are currently employed in the greenhouse.

The company has successfully launched the production of lettuce on the Georgian market and now offers its customers high quality vegetables. Imereti Greenery manufactures healthy Georgian products using modern Dutch technology. With the latest Dutch design, Imereti Greenery is the most modern greenhouse in the Caucasus using the Philips LED lighting system, which is particularly effective during winter. The high-tech Dutch-Georgian enterprise is one of the major suppliers of Georgian vegetables on the market today.
