The Executive Director of the Development Fund of Georgia, Besik Bugianishvili, held a working meeting in electronic format with Tomáš Nidetzký, the Director of the National Development Bank of the Czech Republic (Národní Rozvojová Banka). During the meeting, the parties discussed specific future investment cooperation that would allow Georgia to attract direct foreign investments from Europe. Prior to this meeting, Besik Bugianishvili had met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Petr Kubernát.
Tomáš Nidetzký congratulated Besik Bugianishvili and Georgia on obtaining the EU candidate status, which will allow the Development Fund of Georgia to become a member of the European Long-Term Investors Association. This, in turn, will open the way for the Fund to collaborate with the development funds and banks of EU countries.
The meeting mentioned above was attended by Vazil Hudak, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Development Fund of Georgia and Ioseb Mamukelashvili, the Director of the Fund's Financial Department.
